Senior Test Automation Engineer @ Cognizant

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic & Technical

• Develop and maintain automation strategies aligned with business goals.
• Implement automation frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS DevOps, and Git.
• Compliance
• Ensure automation practices adhere to GxP and SOP standards, especially in regulated environments like life sciences.
• Maintain documentation, audit trails, and compliance metrics for automation initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, Node.js
• Strong experience in Java Selenium
• Expertise in API-level test automation
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns: SOA, Microservices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS/Azure
• Knowledge in Docker images, containers, networks
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins /other leadings CI/CD tools
• Good knowledge in hosting & running applications & automated tests in the cloud (such as OpenShift/AWS)

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.

Location: Pune/Chennai/Coimbatore/Hyderabad/Bangalore
