Job Description: Senior ServiceNow QA Lead (7+ Years)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow QA Lead with 7+ years of experience to own the end-to-end testing strategy, execution, and automation for our ServiceNow platform. You will ensure high-quality delivery across multiple modules, drive automation using ATF, and lead the QA process for major platform upgrades and deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- QA Strategy & Leadership: Define test strategies, create master test plans, and lead QA governance for complex ServiceNow deployments and platform upgrades.
- Hands-on Testing: Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across core modules (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM) and Scoped Apps.
- Test Automation: Architect, build, and maintain automated test suites using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Technical Validation: Verify complex workflows, Flow Designer, Access Controls (ACLs), Client Scripts, and third-party integrations (REST/SOAP/IntegrationHub).
- Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle in Jira/Azure DevOps and coordinate triage with development teams and business stakeholders for UAT.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in Software QA, with 4+ years dedicated specifically to ServiceNow.
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, and core workflows.
- Automation Skills: Expert-level experience with ServiceNow ATF (including custom UI and server-side testing).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read/debug JavaScript and understand ServiceNow configurations (Business Rules, Script Includes).
- Methodology: Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required. ATF Micro-Certification or ITIL certification is highly preferred.
