Full stack Developer +Gen AI @ Infosys

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams.
• Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards.
• Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.
• Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other.
• Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Maintain observability standards structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling.
• Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
• Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices.

• .NET primary backend services

• Kafka / IBM MQ for messaging and event streaming
• Python for scripting and automation

Cloud & DevOps

• AWS / Azure (hybrid cloud)
• Docker & Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) for containerisation
• CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
• API Gateway: Apigee / Kong / Azure API Management

Data & Persistence

• Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL transactional systems
• NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra
• Analytics platforms: Snowflake / Hadoop / Databricks

Security & Quality

• OAuth2, OpenID Connect
• Identity platforms: Azure AD, Okta
• Code quality & security: Nexus IQ, Fortify, SonarQube
• TDD, code review, debugging best practices

Monitoring & Observability

• Logging: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace
• Version control: Git (GitHub / Bitbucket)
