Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day fulfillment center operations, ensuring smooth execution of inbound, inventory, picking, packing, and outbound processes.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring productivity, quality, and service-level metrics.
  • Lead and supervise warehouse associates and team leads to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Supply Chain, Planning, HR, and Quality to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, attendance, and manpower utilization.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, order accuracy, turnaround time, and fulfillment metrics.
  • Handle escalations and drive timely resolution of operational issues to minimize business impact.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
  • Ensure customer commitments and service levels are consistently met through effective execution and monitoring.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performance work culture.
  • Participate in capacity planning and peak season readiness to support business growth.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 2-5 years of experience in Fulfillment Center, Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or Operations Management.
  • Experience in team handling and people management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operations environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
