Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Automation Tester Quality & Governance Focus

Role Objective The Automation Tester with Governance Focus ensures the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of the organizations digital ecosystem. You will combine automation expertise in Selenium and Java with governance-driven validation of CMS workflows, digital assets, and navigation structures. The objective is to safeguard user journeys by proactively identifying and resolving defects, inconsistencies, and compliance gaps before release.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Automation & CMS Validation
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  • Validate CMS-driven workflows, templates, and publishing processes to ensure compliance with brand and legal standards.
  • Cross-check metadata, product specifications, and content structures across digital touchpoints
  1. Governance of Links & Navigation
  • Automate link validation to prevent broken links, incorrect redirects, and "404" errors.
  • Ensure nested links and references in CMS pages, PDF manuals, and support documents remain functional.
  • Flag outdated references that could disrupt the user experience.
  1. Visual & Technical QA
  • Verify multimedia assets (images, videos, icons) for resolution, relevance, and compliance.
  • Integrate automated checks for accessibility and performance standards.
  • Act as a governance gatekeeper during pre-release and post-release cycles.
  1. Issue Tracking & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Log discrepancies and automation failures in tools like JIRA, Asana, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers, content creators, and compliance teams to resolve flagged issues.
  • Provide clear documentation and governance reports for audit purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (AEM,WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar).
  • Familiarity with QA governance frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent attention to detail for content validation, link governance, and compliance checks.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate governance requirements across teams.
