Job Description
At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.- Plan and execute validation and reliability tests for sensor products in accordance with global and customer-specific standards.
- Interpret and apply standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, AEC-Q100/102/103.
- Develop test procedures, and reports aligned with product requirements and regulatory needs.
- Develop and maintain test methods, fixtures and documentation in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
- Operate and maintain test equipment for electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing for maintenance, calibration and test efficiency.
- Analyze test data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab), identify trends, and recommend design or process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and manufacturing to resolve technical issues.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for test failures.
- Contribute to lab standardization and continuous improvement initiatives in test methods, automation, and lab efficiency.
- Ensure Test activities are executed safely in compliance with EHS safety, quality, and documentation standards in the lab environment
- Education: Bachelors or Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in product validation, reliability testing, or test engineering preferably in sensors or automotive domain
- Experience in DV/PV test plan preparation, test execution, data analysis and test reports.
- Strong knowledge of environmental, mechanical, and electrical testing methods.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) and data acquisition systems.
- Expertise in ISO 17025, IATF, AEC-Q qualification Test methodologies is a must.
- Skilled in use of DAQ, Oscilloscopes, Lab Instruments, Pressure / Vibration / Humidity, Climatic chambers, etc
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying international and customer-specific standards.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment and instrumentation.
- Energetic, execution-driven, and resilient under pressure.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on go getter mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, delivery and accuracy.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, passionate and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passionate about technology, testing and continuous improvement.
