Job Description
Important Note: We need candidates with an Employee Transportation background; commercial transportation will not be the right fit. We are looking for candidates managing transportation for corporate employees within a company.
The Transport Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end transport operations within the assigned city, ensuring smooth execution of daily operations, vendor management, client coordination, compliance adherence, and achievement of operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily ETS transport operations across the assigned city.
- Ensure timely vehicle deployment and trip execution as per client requirements.
- Monitor fleet utilization, trip adherence, and driver performance.
- Handle vendor management, including onboarding, compliance, and performance tracking.
- Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with statutory and company requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients for operational escalations and resolutions.
- Monitor operational KPIs such as SLA, TAT, safety, absenteeism, and trip efficiency.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Manage shift planning, manpower allocation, and roster management.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Handle incident management and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of transport and fleet operations.
- Experience in client and vendor management.
- Good understanding of compliance and safety processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and operational MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage teams and work under pressure.
