Job Description
AI / GenAI Engineer Agentic AI Platforms (C4) Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on AI / GenAI Engineer with strong experience in enterprise AI integrations, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, and AI platform engineering to support the implementation of a unified enterprise AI platform built around Databricks AI Gateway.
The role will focus on integrating enterprise AI services, enabling agent workflows, implementing telemetry instrumentation, supporting governance enablement, and operationalizing AI capabilities across cloud and on-prem ecosystems.
The engineer will work closely with the Senior Databricks Architect, Cloud Engineering, Security, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support implementation and integration of enterprise AI solutions leveraging Databricks AI Gateway.
- Build and integrate agentic AI workflows and enterprise AI services including:
- AWS Bedrock
- Azure AI Foundry
- ServiceNow AI Agents
- Oracle AI Services
- MCP servers
- Direct AI agent integrations
- Develop and support telemetry instrumentation and observability integrations using OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
- Enable logging, tracing, monitoring, and operational telemetry integration into:
- Databricks MLflow
- Databricks system tables
- Unity Catalog governed environments
- Support implementation of governance and security controls for AI workflows, prompts, model outputs, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with API and platform engineering teams to integrate AI services through:
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- AWS API Gateway
- Build operational dashboards and reporting using:
- Power BI
- Databricks Dashboards
- Support automation, CI/CD integration, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with FinOps and platform teams to monitor:
- AI consumption
- LLM usage
- Agent execution costs
- API utilization
- Contribute to reusable engineering frameworks, integration patterns, and operational best practices for enterprise AI platforms.
- 610 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with:
- Databricks
- GenAI / LLM integrations
- AI orchestration frameworks
- API integrations
- Experience working with cloud AI services such as:
- Azure AI Foundry
- AWS Bedrock
- ServiceNow AI capabilities
- Good understanding of:
- OpenTelemetry (OTEL)
- AI observability
- API gateways
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native integrations
- Familiarity with Python and AI integration frameworks
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Exposure to agentic AI workflows and orchestration frameworks
- Experience with Databricks AI Gateway and MLflow
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog governance
- Experience with Power BI and dashboard development
- Exposure to enterprise IAM and security concepts
- Understanding of FinOps concepts for AI workloads
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
