Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyse data from ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), HRMS, and other internal systems.
- Build daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for Sales, Production, Dispatch, Inventory, and HR.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities from structured and unstructured data sets.
- Prepare executive dashboards and management review presentations.
AI-Enabled Analytics
- Use Claude AI (Anthropic) to accelerate data interpretation, summarise large reports, draft analytical narratives, and generate actionable insights from raw outputs.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Claude AI prompting workflows and Python / Excel-based scripts.
- Evaluate and implement AI tools to improve data workflow efficiency across departments.
Export & Commercial Analytics
- Analyse export performance by geography, product category, and customer segment.
- Track order fulfilment, dispatch timelines, and shipment KPIs.
- Support the commercial team with pricing analysis, margin tracking, and demand forecasting.
Production & Quality Data
- Monitor production output, machine utilization, scrap rates, and quality rejection data.
- Provide data support for ISO 9001:2015 compliance reporting and audit preparation.
Cross-Functional Support
- Work with HR on headcount, attrition, attendance, and manpower cost analytics.
- Support procurement with vendor performance and raw material cost trend analysis.
- Assist logistics/export team with freight cost benchmarking and lead-time analysis.
Key Skills:
Must Have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, charts
- Hands-on experience with Claude AI or other LLM tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) for business use cases
- Data visualisation using Power BI or Tableau
- SQL ability to write and optimise queries for data extraction
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Clear written and verbal communication in English
