Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures that support the organizations analytical and operational needs. You will play a key role in defining the overall data strategy, governance, and architecture framework to ensure data is consistent, reliable, and easily accessible across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture, including data models, data flows, pipelines, and integrations.
- Define and maintain data standards, governance policies, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business teams to ensure alignment between technical and business objectives.
- Architect and oversee the development of data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support analytics and BI initiatives.
- Define and implement data integration strategies for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate data management technologies (ETL/ELT tools, data catalog, MDM, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data management or data engineering, with 3+ years in data architecture or solution architecture roles.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data architectures in complex environments.
- Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and database design (OLTP, OLAP).
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica, Glue).
- Proficiency with cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks).
