Role Summary
The Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory and SEZ compliance, and efficient management of cash flow and working capital. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, process orientation, and team leadership to support business growth and governance standards.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Financial Reporting & Finalization Timely closure of books and preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Audit & Compliance Manage statutory, internal, and SEZ audits with timely closure of observations; ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulations.
- Financial Controls & Governance Implement robust internal controls, reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll, and policy adherence.
- Cash Flow & Working Capital Monitor and optimize receivables, payables, and treasury operations for liquidity management.
- Process Excellence & Automation Drive ERP/automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in finance operations.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Reporting Lead and develop the finance team; deliver timely MIS, dashboards, and reports to management and regulators.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, SEZ regulations, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-support capability.
- Sound understanding of reconciliations, internal controls, and governance practices.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver within strict timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance)/CA inter/M.com with atleast 7-8 years of experience
- Experience: 5-6 years of progressive finance & operations experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Prior exposure to SEZ compliance, audits, and ERP environments is highly desirable.
