Java Back End Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Java 8/11/17) and frameworks like Spring Boot / Spring MVC
• Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
• Develop microservices-based architecture and ensure scalability and performance
• Integrate applications with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Work with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) to deliver features
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance standards
