About the Job:

As a Marketo Developer, you will design and enable scalable marketing automation programs that enhance lead management, personalization, and campaign effectiveness. Youll collaborate closely with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business needs into automated workflows and data-driven campaigns.

In this role, you will work on building efficient Marketo programs, optimizing lead lifecycle processes, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling seamless integration with CRM and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketo Development & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain Marketo programs, smart campaigns, nurture journeys, and lead lifecycle workflows.
  • Configure and manage lead scoring models, segmentation, and database management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain reusable email templates, landing pages, forms, and tokens to improve campaign efficiency.
  • Implement and optimize automation workflows to support marketing initiatives and improve engagement rates.

Data Management & Integration

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency through validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
  • Support integrations between Marketo and external systems such as CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and other marketing tools.
  • Troubleshoot sync issues, data discrepancies, and campaign execution problems with root-cause analysis.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to execute campaigns, analyze performance, and improve outcomes.
  • Support A/B testing, reporting, and campaign optimization initiatives.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to enhance targeting, personalization, and engagement strategies.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable marketing automation solutions.
  • Contribute to documentation, process standardization, and best practices for marketing operations.
  • Support release planning, testing, and post-deployment validation of marketing programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Marketo development and marketing automation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Marketo components including programs, smart campaigns, segmentation, forms, and email/landing page creation.
  • Experience with lead lifecycle management, scoring models, and campaign execution.
  • Understanding of integrations between Marketo and CRM or other marketing platforms.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in BE/ME/BTECH/MTECH/MCA/MSC/MBA or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced Marketo operations including lead routing, lifecycle reporting, and attribution models.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and marketing tools within the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization.
  • Exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and campaign performance tracking.
  • Understanding of AI-driven marketing use cases such as predictive segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
