Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Support the research activities of Hitachi Research Institute (HRI), which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The activities include, but not limited to, the followings:
  • Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry, and energy & environment in India as well as other regions globally.
  • Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and opportunity/threat for Hitachi through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and competitor benchmarking.
  • Work out the measures to capture opportunities and reduce threats.
  • Supervise junior researcher in the team in India.

Preferred candidate profile

Masters degree in economics/ commerce/ business from a reputed college or university.

7+ years of related work experience preferably with a market research/ consulting/ credit rating firm or strategy/ corporate office of multinational company.
