About the Role

The Associate Manager Acquisition (Current Account) is responsible for acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) current account customers for a designated branch. This role involves direct customer interaction, understanding banking needs, and offering tailored solutions. The incumbent will also support the Sales Manager in catchment mapping, gathering customer feedback, and identifying potential business opportunities. The role is critical in driving client acquisition, deepening customer relationships, and maximizing lifetime value to achieve broader organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquire NTB current account customers from the identified segment and catchment area.
  • Ensure high-quality acquisitions in terms of product mix, customer segments, and account constitution.
  • Proactively register and activate acquired customers on digital and direct banking channels.
  • Meet and exceed monthly acquisition targets by analysing and addressing customers transaction banking needs.
  • Assist the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and opportunity identification.
  • Provide regular feedback to Sales Managers/Relationship Managers on customer needs and market trends.
  • Adhere to the organizations selling norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain quality sourcing in line with the banks acquisition standards.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong market awareness and a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and functions within the branch to deliver comprehensive product and service offerings, ensuring a customer-centric approach.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline (Full-time).

Experience

  • 14 years of experience in sales, preferably within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.

Skills and Attributes

  • Customer-focused approach with a passion for service excellence.
  • Ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of current account products and transaction banking.
  • High level of integrity and compliance orientation.

About the Role

The Associate Manager Acquisition (Household) is a front-line sales role within the Branch Banking function, responsible for acquiring new savings account customers for the bank. The role involves identifying potential customers, engaging with them through various channels, explaining the benefits and features of savings products, and closing sales. The incumbent also ensures customer satisfaction, facilitates onboarding to digital platforms, and fosters long-term relationships to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acquire savings account customers in the identified segment and generate references from the designated catchment area.
  • Ensure high-quality customer acquisition in terms of constitution, product mix, and segment alignment.
  • Onboard and activate customers on digital banking platforms.
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager in catchment mapping and branch scoping exercises.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Senior Sales Manager and Branch Manager on customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to sales compliance standards and organizational SOPs.
  • Maintain strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular customer acquisition activities in the catchment area, targeting high-quality and HNI customers to enhance visibility for IDFC FIRST Bank.
  • Work on key central initiatives and actively seek referrals from existing customers.

  • Collaborate with team members and support functions to deliver comprehensive product and service offerings to customers.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline

Experience

        04 years of experience in sales, preferably within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.
