About the Role

A Relationship Manager Farmer Finance is a core anchor in sourcing and managing farmer finance business within the assigned branch and territory. The role focuses on identifying and engaging eligible farmer customers for agricultural lending solutions, particularly Kisan Credit Card (KCC), while adopting a 360-degree banking approach. Relationship Managers are expected to understand customer needs, strengthen long-term relationships, and offer solutions in line with those needs, while upholding the core philosophy of being Fair to the Customer and Fair to the Bank. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to deliver consistent service quality, portfolio

growth, and customer delight, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Create service excellence by partnering with farmer customers

through their financial life cycle and offering suitable agricultural finance products and services based on their needs, while being fair to the customer and fair to the bank in all engagements.

Business Development

Responsible for sourcing and selling Kisan Credit Cards (KCC) in

the assigned branch and territory. Drive growth of the farmer finance portfolio and profitability by acquiring new customers and increasing wallet share of existing customers.

Champion 360-degree banking

Offer products based on customer needs in collaboration with other internal teams in the bank to ensure appropriate and holistic product offerings for farmer customers.

Enhance the portfolio quality

Work towards maintaining a healthy farmer finance portfolio by ensuring timely renewals, repayments, and recovery. Identify early warning

indicators and take proactive measures to minimize delinquencies and NPAs, in line with the philosophy of Fair to Bank, Fair to Customer.

Customized solutions

Provide customized agricultural finance solutions as per branch

and credit guidelines. Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and coordination to support effective servicing of farmer customers.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

Graduates with relevant working experience in the area of relationship management. Qualification in Agriculture will be an added advantage.

Communication

Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage

effectively with farmer customers and internal stakeholders.

Synergize with Team

Willingness to work with various teams for on-ground support and to deliver required enablers for business growth and customer servicing.

Improvise

Ability to drive productivity, develop customer relationships, and execute

sales and servicing processes aligned with business objectives.

Market Sensing

Ability to identify new market opportunities, understand rural market

dynamics, and support expansion of the farmer finance portfolio.
