Job Description
Experience: 8+ Years AWS
Must-Have
AWS Platform: Proven hands-on experience architecting and operating production workloads on AWS across compute, storage, networking, serverless, and identity. Must understand multi-account design, cost governance, and security controls at scale.
Infrastructure as Code: Ability to design and maintain reusable, modular Terraform codebases integrated into automated pipelines. Comfortable managing remote state, drift detection, and policy enforcement.
Containers & Kubernetes: Deep experience running containerized workloads on Kubernetes in production including cluster operations, workload security, autoscaling, and observability. EKS expertise required.
DevOps & CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining automated delivery pipelines with integrated security scanning, artifact management, and dependency validation as part of the software delivery lifecycle.
Python & Bash: Strong scripting and development skills for cloud automation, infrastructure tooling, and operational tasks. Ability to build reusable, maintainable code not just one-off scripts.
API Development: Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with proper authentication, authorization, throttling, and documentation standards.
Nice-to-Have
Data & SQL: Ability to query, transform, and analyze data using SQL and AWS-native data services. Useful for FinOps reporting, CMDB analytics, and platform observability use cases.
Application Development: Comfort building lightweight backend services and writing unit/integration tests. Experience with additional languages like Go or TypeScript is a plus.
Multi-Cloud & Tooling: Exposure to GCP or enterprise platform tooling such as observability platforms, developer portals, or IT service management integrations.
Senior DevOps Engineer Jenkins Upgrade & CI/CD Platform Engineering
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Jenkins upgrade, migration, and CI/CD platform engineering. The role demands hands-on experience in DevOps automation, pipeline engineering, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting complex production environments, ensuring seamless platform upgrades, stability, and continuous delivery across enterprise-scale workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Jenkins upgrade and migration activities across environments with minimal disruption.
- Assess existing Jenkins setup (controllers, plugins, pipelines) and drive version compatibility, replatforming, and modernization.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Pipeline as Code, Groovy, shared libraries).
- Automate platform operations using Terraform, Helm, and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Jenkins, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and pipeline failures.
- Collaborate with development, cloud, and security teams to ensure scalable and secure deployment practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 810 years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Jenkins upgrade, migration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong scripting skills in Groovy, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices.
