Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and IT operations to ensure that cloud strategies align with business objectives, industry best practices, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Develop cloud adoption strategies, including migration plans, deployment models, and integration with on-premises systems.
- Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
- Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory standards are integrated into cloud designs.
- Perform cost optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning for cloud solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 812+ years of experience in IT architecture, including cloud architecture design.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment architectures.
- Proficiency in cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and serverless technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
