Job Description
Muthoot Fincorp Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional for the role of Chief Manager Financial Reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Ind AS, and timely preparation of financial statements for management and regulatory purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS and other applicable accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders for financial reporting requirements.
- Review balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and financial disclosures.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reports.
- Support management in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls within the reporting function.
- Lead and mentor the financial reporting team to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, and financial reporting practices.
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
Experience
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Reporting, Direct & Indirect taxation, Accounting, or Finance functions, preferably in NBFC/BFSI sector.
