Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist AI/ML with strong experience in the Automotive domain to lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in solving complex business challenges using cutting-edge data science techniques, ensuring scalability, robustness, and compliance with AI safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML models to solve complex business problems in the automotive space.
- Apply advanced machine learning algorithms (supervised & unsupervised) for predictive analytics and decision-making.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ML workflows using Python-based tools and frameworks.
- Implement LLM guardrails and safety mechanisms to ensure responsible AI deployment.
- Perform model evaluation, validation, and hyperparameter tuning to improve performance and reliability.
- Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights using advanced SQL queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business stakeholders) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive best practices in model governance, documentation, and versioning.
- Present analytical findings and model outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Required Qualifications:
- 510 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, AI/ML.
- Strong programming experience in Python, with expertise in:
- Pandas
- NumPy
- Scikit-learn
- Solid understanding of:
- Machine Learning algorithms
- Statistical modeling techniques
- Model evaluation methods
- Experience working in the Automotive domain (highly preferred).
- Proficiency in Advanced SQL for data manipulation, querying, and analysis.
- Experience with Generative AI / LLMs and Guardrails frameworks is a must.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- Masters degree in:
- Data Science (M.Sc) OR
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (M.Tech)
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Certified Data Scientist
- Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer (preferred)
Good to Have:
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
