Title: Credit Manager Credit Cards
Education Qualification: MBA
Experience Required: 2 - 8 years of banking/NBFC/Financial Industry experience
Roles and responsibilities:
Underwrite CC applications in accordance with the laid down credit policy and process guidelines.
Decision the CC applications within the pre-defined business TAT without compromising on quality of decision
Verify and scrutinize all the applications provided by the applicant for underwriting
Conduct credit bureau checks to assess the obligations and thereby repayment capability basis income and current dues.
Review all reports, physical verification report, RCU report, Hunter report before approval
Take policy exceptions with due approvals wherever the application otherwise merits an approval to enhance quality booking
Mentor and train new recruits in the Underwriting team
Manage verification agency and process verification agency billing
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of loan originating cycle Loan application, processing, underwriting and disbursement.
Good knowledge of Loan Origination System
Strong understanding of credit policies, risk assessment, and underwriting principles
Experience in analyzing of credit policy and repayment capacity before approving the loan application
Working knowledge of credit bureau, preferably of CIBIL score and report
Microsoft Office exposure, specifically MS-Word and MS-Excel
Soft Skills:
Goal oriented, highly motivated, team-player person
Strong analytical, decision making and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Strong attention to details and ability to time management
Problem solving and result based approach
