Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation, quality engineering, and AI-enabled testing practices. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, leveraging AI-powered testing tools, improving testing efficiency through automation, and driving the adoption of AI-assisted quality engineering practices across projects.
The position requires hands-on experience in automation framework development, automated test execution, CI/CD integration, deployment validation, AI-powered testing tools, and modern quality engineering practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to promote testing standards and AI adoption across multiple teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and automation scripts for web, mobile, API, and integration testing.
* Write, review, optimize, and maintain automation test scripts using modern automation tools and frameworks.
* Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing practices across projects and engineering teams.
* Utilize AI-powered testing tools and assistants to improve test coverage, test design, defect detection, root cause analysis, and reporting.
* Leverage AI tools to accelerate test case generation, automation development, test maintenance, defect analysis, and quality engineering workflows.
* Define and implement best practices for AI-enabled testing and quality assurance.
* Evaluate emerging AI testing tools and recommend adoption strategies across projects.
* Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API, and mobile automation test suites.
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
* Implement automated quality gates within build and release pipelines.
* Support deployment validation, smoke testing, regression testing, and release certification processes.
* Contribute to test environment automation and test data management strategies.
* Collaborate with developers, product teams, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to improve software quality and testability.
* Contribute to quality engineering standards, automation frameworks, and reusable testing assets.
* Mentor QA engineers and support teams in adopting AI-powered testing approaches.
* Communicate testing strategies, findings, recommendations, and AI adoption initiatives effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills:
* 3-6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and quality engineering.
* Strong experience in web, mobile, API, and integration test automation.
* Strong hands-on experience in automation script development using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar technologies.
* Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.
* Hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools, AI assistants, and AI-enabled quality engineering workflows.
* Strong awareness of emerging AI technologies, AI agents, and AI-assisted testing practices.
* Experience using AI tools to improve test automation development, test generation, defect analysis, documentation, and testing productivity.
* Experience implementing automation testing within CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
* Strong understanding of release validation, deployment testing, smoke testing, and quality gates.
* Experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
* Good understanding of DevOps concepts, automated software delivery practices, and deployment automation.
* Strong understanding of API testing, test data management, and integration testing.
* Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
* Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
* Ability to evaluate, adopt, and promote new AI testing tools and engineering practices.
* Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience
