Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mainframe technologies and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write and optimize code using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2
• Good understanding of batch and online processing systems
• Experience in system analysis, design, and development
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in legacy system modernization
• Knowledge of banking or financial domain (preferred but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
