Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager Finance & Accounting to lead and manage end-to-end F&A operations across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. The role requires a strong operational leader who thrives in a dynamic delivery environment, drives performance through direct floor engagement, and ensures operational excellence, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
The successful candidate will lead a team of 30+ FTEs, oversee service delivery, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to US-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership & Service Delivery
- Manage end-to-end AP, AR, and RTR operations, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead a team of 30+ finance professionals, driving productivity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Maintain a strong floor presence to provide real-time support, coaching, and escalation management.
- Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics and drive performance improvement plans where required.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct governance reviews, operational performance discussions, and business updates.
- Present operational dashboards, metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives with confidence and clarity.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to Clean Room protocols, data privacy requirements, and information security standards.
- Own process compliance, audit readiness, SOP governance, and control frameworks.
- Drive process standardization and maturity initiatives across finance operations.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings, process gaps, and compliance-related action items.
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and succession planning within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and career development discussions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop future leaders through mentoring and capability-building initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify transformation opportunities through automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning for operational issues.
- Drive productivity enhancements, quality improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 12-15 years of experience in BPO Finance & Accounting Operations.
- Strong operational experience across AP, AR, and RTR processes.
- Proven track record of managing large teams (30+ FTEs) in a high-volume delivery environment.
- Experience in managing client-facing operations and governance reviews.
