Job Description
Job Title: Full Stack Lead
Location: Remote (Time: 3PM to 12:00 AM ) Type: Full-Time Reports to: Product Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications across both the front-end and back-end. You will work closely with our design and product teams to turn mockups into interactive pages and implement business logic, ensuring seamless integration with other applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Frontend Development:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Material UI (MUI) for UI components.
- Transform screen mockups or page definitions into interactive pages within the overall look and feel specification.
- Implement component-based architecture to enhance maintainability and scalability.
2. Backend Development:
- Develop backend services using Next.js to handle business logic and data processing.
- Ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end components.
3. Database Management:
- Utilize Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, or a combination) for data storage and management.
- Optimize data fetching capabilities using Firebases features (e.g., Cloud Functions).
4. Testing:
- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest.
- Conduct end-to-end testing using Cypress or Playwright.
- Utilize Firebase Test Lab for automated testing across various devices.
5. Deployment:
- Manage deployment processes using Firebase Hosting.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
6. Source Control & Code Quality:
- Use GitHub for source control and version management.
- Maintain code quality with ESLint and Prettier for consistent coding standards.
7. Security:
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Firebase Authentication.
- Ensure secure data storage and transmission with appropriate security rules and encryption.
8. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with team members, including product managers and designers, to define and implement new features.
- Provide guidance and support to junior developers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in full stack development with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Material UI (MUI) for front-end development.
- Experience with Next.js for backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, and Cloud Functions).
- Expertise in testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Familiarity with GitHub for source control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Proficiency in using Visual Studio Code (VSCode) as the development environment.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture and data fetching optimizations.
- Experience implementing security best practices with Firebase Authentication.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building sales and marketing technologies.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and hit the target with less defined specifications.
- Strong understanding of the sales and marketing domain.
