As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.Roles Responsibilities:
  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to optimize service delivery.Professional Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes within IT service frameworks.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in enterprise service management platforms.
  • Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of disruptions.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques and workflows within ServiceNow modules.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Chennai office.
