Job Description
As a Java Backend Software Development Engineer (SDE-2), you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- System Design & Architecture: Translate complex product requirements into modular, extensible low-level technical designs. Contribute to high-level architecture with guidance from senior technical stakeholders.
- Code Quality & Execution: Write clean, readable, high-performance, and easily maintainable code. Handle complex business logic and large-scale data processing efficiently.
- Project Planning: Break down large projects into manageable technical tasks and provide accurate delivery effort estimates.
- Tech Stack Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate data structures, tools, and modern technology stacks to solve engineering challenges.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster technical excellence across the team. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared business goals.
- Continuous Delivery: Work actively within Agile environments, leveraging CI/CD practices to deliver robust web applications on time.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for a well-rounded engineer who is quality-conscious, product-oriented, and business-awaresomeone who understands the "why" behind the code.
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant backend software development experience.
- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech or an equivalent technical degree.
- Core Java Expertise: Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals, along with hands-on experience in multithreading and concurrency programming.
- Frameworks & Architecture: Proven expertise in Java backend frameworks (such as Spring Boot or Dropwizard) and experience building microservices-based architectures.
- Databases: Deep hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
- Infrastructure & Tools: Good working knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux commands, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
