Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Security Engineer to identify, manage, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring strong security posture across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, document, and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors for risk mitigation
- Provide incident response for security events impacting applications and infrastructure
- Monitor and manage vulnerabilities using tools like Qualys
- Deliver security posture updates and insights to leadership
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security best practices (PCI, NIST preferred)
- Experience with Java back-end services, AWS, Kubernetes, Unix, and Tomcat
- Familiarity with telemetry and monitoring tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including leadership
