ROLE SUMMARY
L2 Digital Services Engineers are the senior technical depth for Client's customer-facing digital platform. With only two FTE, they are highly leveraged. They own the resolution of complex incidents in the mobile app, payment gateway, loyalty platform, and API layer; they investigate problem records that span multiple services; they coordinate with Client's Digital engineering team on root-cause investigations. They run P1 bridges from the technical side and own the publication of RCA documents within 5 business days. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
6-9 years in SRE, observability engineering, or payment platform engineering.
Deep hands-on Dynatrace expertise: problem investigation, custom alerting, DQL queries, dashboard creation.
Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Solutions Architect Associate (AZ-305) certification required.
Strong understanding of distributed system failure modes: cascading failures, retry storms, circuit breaker behavior.
Familiarity with at least one payment platform integration: Worldpay, Fiserv, Cybersource, Stripe, Adyen.
Mobile app monitoring depth: crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics or similar), performance traces, RUM.
API management platform experience: Azure APIM, Apigee, or Kong.
Programming literacy: able to read code in at least one of Java, C#, Node.js, Python to diagnose issues.
Strong English communication: writes clear RCA documents, leads bridge calls with US-based engineers.
ITIL v4 Foundation required.
