 Sales Executive

Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting the hospital's healthcare services, increasing patient referrals, building strong relationships with doctors, corporate organizations, insurance companies, TPAs, industries, and other healthcare partners. The role focuses on achieving business growth by developing strategic partnerships and enhancing the hospital's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Generate new business opportunities to increase patient footfall and revenue.
  • Identify and develop relationships with referring doctors, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular field visits to corporate offices, industries, educational institutions, and government organizations to promote hospital services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Promote hospital specialties, health packages, and preventive healthcare programs.
  • Organize health camps, awareness programs, CME activities, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the hospital at community events, exhibitions, and networking programs.

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with referral partners and corporate clients.

Sales Performance

  • Achieve monthly and annual business targets.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a database of clients, referrals, and business prospects.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with doctors, operations, patient care, and billing teams to ensure seamless patient services.
  • Support patient acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into admissions or consultations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or any related field.
  • MBA (Marketing) will be preferred.

Experience

  • 25 years of experience in hospital marketing, healthcare sales, pharmaceutical marketing, or medical business development.
  • Fresh MBA graduates with strong communication skills may also apply.

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital services and healthcare industry.
  • Relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel frequently for field visits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Achievement of monthly sales targets.
  • Number of new referral doctors onboarded.
  • Number of corporate tie-ups established.
  • Growth in OPD/IPD referrals.
  • Patient conversion rate.
  • Revenue generated through business development activities.
  • Customer satisfaction and client retention.
