Exp 6-9 yrs
Location: Bangalore/Chennai.
The Skills that are Key to this role
- Hands on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities
- Proven problem-solving abilities and analysis of complex mainframe programs is a must skill.
- Must be experienced in maintaining systems in the MVS mainframe environment.
- Must have worked in Mainframe application development.
- Must be able to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management.
- Must have experience of working in an agile environment
- Ability to understand the requirements and come up with an optimal end-to-end solution
- Must possess strong analytical skills to review the production problems reported
- Able to do unit testing

The Expertise were looking forEducation and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar subject.
- 8+ years of experience in development work in Mainframe technology.
- Financial services experience, preferably in Brokerage Domain
- Certification in relevant technologies is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge and experience:
- Operating Systems : Mainframe
- Languages : Mainframe (work experience is must),Good to have understanding of
- distributed technology.
- Database : DB2, exposure to Oracle DB
- Methodology : Agile
- Others : Prior experience on large scale IT Transformational Projects ( Migration, Modernization) is plus
