Job Description
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer who thrives in building high-performance, scalable, and cloud-native applications. If you have robust experience in modernizing applications using OpenShift, migrating/building services on AWS, and designing real-time event streams with Apache Kafka, we want you on our team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Build, maintain, and optimize robust microservices and web applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Package applications into Docker containers and manage deployments, scaling, and networking within Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- Cloud Architecture: Design and integrate cloud solutions utilizing AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and EKS/ECS).
- Event-Driven Systems: Architect and implement real-time data pipelines and messaging systems using Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, Kafka Connect, and stream processing).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Collaborate with DevOps teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment across OpenShift and AWS environments.
- Performance Tuning: Write clean, maintainable code and profile application performance to eliminate bottlenecks in high-throughput environments.
Key Requirements & Skills:
- Core Stack: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Cloud Platforms: Proven track record working with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native design patterns.
- Messaging & Streaming: Solid understanding of Apache Kafka concepts (topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets) or enterprise messaging equivalents.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency with both Relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Testing: Strong experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit) and mock frameworks.
