Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for data modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define business objectives and translate them into detailed data requirements
• Participate in the review and validation of data models, data flows, and business rules
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and BI teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions
• Analyze complex datasets and stored procedures to derive insights and extract business requirements
• Define and document requirements for dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business users
• Ensure adherence to data quality, governance, and compliance standards
• Conduct impact analysis and support change management activities
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis and documentation
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data-related initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with strong exposure to data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large and complex datasets
• Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modelling
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
