Applicatrion Support - Bangalore @ Trigent

• Appbank: Java and scripting ,dev40 ops60 %, production support environment looking for someone with finanical background,is must one year contract,perl/python scriptingknoweldge on BI

• Follow the lifecycle of the trade from order and execution, through position management and settlement both functionally and technically
• Work actively with the firm's engineering teams to assess and improve client experience
• Manage client impact assessment during incidents and effectively communicate with business users, application owners and senior stakeholders across all areas
• Identify opportunities to improve aspects of application stability and performance or operational workflow efficiency, and advise service owners on permanent enhancements accordingly
• Specify requirements for and drive adoption of tools developed by engineering teams to automate client impact assessment. Measure/notify potential degradation in client experience
• Identify manual processes in the delivery of this function that can be automated and deliver these automation projects

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent)
• At least five (5) years of operations, technology, or client service experience in Financial Service Industry

MUST HAVE SKILLS AND/OR LICESNSES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB:

• Significant experience of incident and problem management. Ability to engage in and add value to associated communications processes.
• Problem solving in a development or production environment, including experience identifying patterns, analyzing root cause and proposing solutions to resolve issues
• Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate the technical and functional aspects of a development/production problem to help drive solutions with senior stakeholders
• A comprehensive understanding of pre and post trade execution flows ranging from order management, executions, allocations, trade processing, confirmations, settlements, positions and balances, ledgers, margin and client reporting functions
