Job Description & Responsibilities [MUST GO THROUGH]:

Opportunity A) - Cloud Database Architect
- Architect scalable, flexible, secure and highly available database solutions (AWS/Azure or other DB)
- Analyze database structural requirements based on new applications, current systems, infrastructure support and other factors
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams
- Ensure seamless integration of external DB with AWS/Azure
- Oversee and participate in executing Enterprise's priorities such as DB migrations from on-premise to cloud, big data and analytics solutions on cloud and others
- Responsible for recommending right database architectures with high performance and availability
- Enforce and ensure best practices are adopted in database development
- Evaluate database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with the company's standards/policies and any external regulations that may apply
- Involve in data cleanup activities and formulate plans and methods to regularly backup data to prevent data loss
- Continuously monitor the database performance and provide any recommendations for the performance improvement such as hardware/software changes etc.
- Maintain the integrity and security of the database
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions
Skills Required:
- 4+ years of experience as a database architect
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the major cloud platforms such as AWS/ Azure and a deep technical understanding of Azure/AWS services such as Amazon EC2, VPC, DirectConnect., Amazon RDS etc.
- Strong experience in managing production scale databases
- Hands on experience in one or more of SQL and No-SQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra and in depth knowledge of data structures
- Practical knowledge of advanced software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps is highly desired
- Exposure to security concepts
- Should have ability to work independently.
Opportunity B) - Cloud Network Architect
- Design and develop reference cloud network architectures for AWS and Azure
- Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting and resolving any network related issues
- Develop architecture and principles of software defined networks
- Regularly assess, review and refine network design and architecture
- Upgrade existing network infrastructure as required, that includes hardware components such as router, gateways and software such as network drivers
- Collaborate with security and compliance team to develop cloud network cyber security design(ex-NSG)
- Ensure that all network & security designs, blueprints and artifacts are maintained and meets the standards and best practices
- Ensure existing/current implementations are in alignment with the reference architecture
- Define relevant metrics, monitor the performance and recommend any process improvements
- Contribute to cloud network telemetry and analytics
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering , with at least 4 years supporting cloud based infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of networking and security engineering as well as technical approaches in design, build, testing, resolving problems as required
- Expert knowledge of AWS and Azure (cloud SaaS/IaaS services)
- Expertise in network related functions of the cloud including security, routing, load balancing, IP management etc.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tools
- Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale cloud projects
- Knowledge in network cyber security controls such as UTMs, NIPS/NIDS and practical experience in designing and implementing secure networks
- Hands-on experience with modern container orchestration systems and agile frameworks
- Relevant industry certifications on AWS and Azure such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking (preferable)
Opportunity C) - Cloud Operations Team Lead
- Responsible for leading and managing the cloud operations team in a collaborative, agile environment, providing technical leadership and guidance
- Oversee and manage end to end cloud and infrastructure operations (including network and security operations)
- Advocate and ensure the best cloud practices are implemented
- Lead and coordinate the architecture reviews with the application development and operations teams
- Continuously monitor and build the productivity and performance of the team
- Responsible to resolve any conflicts/impediments that may impact the team's productivity
- Work closely with key stakeholders to communicate the cloud operations road map, identify key challenges associated with it and drive mitigation measures to address the pain points
- Establish and manage change control processes
- Report the progress and key metrics to senior leadership team
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes
- Accountable for managing project timelines and workloads
- Oversee and coordinate compliance audits and reporting
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations field and proven experience in managing a team
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining large scale cloud environments
- Hands on experience in AWS /Azure
- Experience with containerization / orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience with build and configuration management tools such as Ansible etc
- Understanding of multiple OS (Windows/Lunux/Unix) and open source technologies
- Strong knowledge in DevOps methodology, CI/CD tools
