Java Back End Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy microservicesbased backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with proper documentation, security, versioning, and performance optimization.
• Implement microservices patterns including service registry, circuit breakers, API gateway, and inter-service communication.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for efficient data modeling and data access.
• Ensure security, scalability, resilience, and fault-tolerance across backend services.

Required Technical Skills

Core Backend Skills

• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, Collections, Streams

Cloud, DevOps & Tools

• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP /Quarkus (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway as applicable)
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Messaging: Kafka / RabbitMQ
