Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PHP Lead to manage end-to-end web application development and lead a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP development along with leadership capabilities to drive project delivery, ensure coding standards, and deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PHP development projects from requirement gathering to deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications.
- Supervise and mentor a team of PHP developers.
- Review code and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders, designers, and QA teams for project execution.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, database structure, and queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and quality standards.
- Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in PHP development.
- Strong expertise in Core PHP and MVC frameworks (Laravel / CodeIgniter preferred).
- Good knowledge of MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
- Experience in REST API development and integration.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Good knowledge of database design and optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in handling teams and delivering end-to-end projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and deployment processes is an added advantage
