Test Architect // Test Lead @ Coforge

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality testing of software applications using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based applications built on Spring Boot framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and implement fixes in a timely manner.
• Analyze data from various sources (e.g., logs, metrics) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Required Skills:

• QA professional with 10+ years of test automation experience.
• Experience in developing in-house automation tools.
• Have strong experience of developing automation framework from scratch using Java as language, Selenium with Rest Assured.
• Strong knowledge of Scripting Languages like Java.
• Experience in developing and testing entire systems with the capability to understand details of mixed technologies.
• Strong experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for the Web/Windows.
• Expert in framework setup, maintenance, migration activities.
• Expertise in functional automation tools like Cucumber/TestNG/UFT/Appium/Selenium WebDriver, GRID etc.
• Expert in designing Webservices / API test framework using SoapUI and Rest Assured. Good Knowledge on XML, JSON.
• Exposure on CI tool(Jenkins), SCM(GIT, SVN) and Build tool(Maven), Test Management Tool (Jira & X Ray).
• Exposure to Test and Defect Management Tools like JIRA, Xray
