Role: Linux Device Driver Developer

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 38 Years

People Tech Group is looking for an experienced Linux Device Driver Engineer to design, develop, and maintain low-level software components for embedded and Linux-based systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong experience in Linux Device Driver Development
  
• Proficient in C programming
  
• Good understanding of Linux Kernel internals
  
• Experience with character, block, and network drivers
  
• Knowledge of interrupt handling, memory management, and DMA
  
• Experience with device tree, kernel modules, and system calls
  
• Debugging using tools like gdb, printk, ftrace, perf
  
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and debug Linux device drivers
  
• Work on kernel customization and board bring-up activities
  
• Interface with hardware teams to understand specifications
  
• Optimize driver performance and ensure system stability
  
• Perform code reviews and follow kernel coding standards
  
• Troubleshoot kernel crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues
  
• Stay updated with Linux kernel updates and best practices
  

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• 38 years of hands-on experience in Linux device driver development
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture
  
• Experience working on embedded platforms (ARM preferred)
  
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
