A site engineer is a construction professional responsible for the technical, organizational, and supervisory aspects of a building project.
Site Supervision: Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring all work follows approved blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Setting Out: Using surveying equipment like total stations or GPS to mark the site and determine the precise location for structural elements.
Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and material tests to ensure workmanship meets engineering standards and project codes.
Health & Safety: Enforcing strict safety protocols, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and conducting risk assessments to prevent accidents.
Problem Solving: Resolving unexpected technical challenges on-site, such as design clashes or unforeseen ground conditions, to avoid project delays.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate site logs, preparing progress reports for project managers, and keeping records of material usage and labour.
Preferred candidate profile
Position : Civil Site Engineer
Qualification : DCE & BE Civil
Experience : Fresher to 6 Years
Salary Package : 2.16L to 4.25L
Job Location : All over Tamil Nadu
Skills : MS Word & AutoCAD Mandatory
Language : Tamil, English & Hindi (added advantage)
