Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AWS services, Python, and big data technologies, with a focus on building efficient ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for data ingestion and processing
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Athena for data storage, transformation, and querying
- Develop scalable data processing solutions using Python and PySpark
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python programming
- Hands-on experience with PySpark / Spark for big data processing
- Expertise in AWS services:
- S3 (data storage)
- Glue (ETL jobs)
- Athena (querying)
- Experience building and managing ETL pipelines
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with SQL and data modeling
