 Lead Software Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and customize Pega Customer Service applications, including:
  • Customer Service Interaction Portal
  • Interaction Flows and Customer Composite
  • Service Cases and Case Life Cycles
  • Configure Interaction Drivers, Intent Tasks, and Microjourneys within the Pega CS framework
  • Implement and enhance omnichannel customer service capabilities, including:
  • Web Messaging
  • Chat and Email Bots
  • SelfService experiences
  • Integrate CTI platforms (Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, Amazon Connect), including:
  • Screenpop functionality
  • Call control features
  • Design and implement:
  • Data models and data pages
  • REST / SOAP API integrations
  • UI rules and reusable components
  • Ensure Pega guardrail compliance, performance optimization, and issue resolution across environments
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and architects to deliver highquality customer service solutions

Preferred candidate profile


  • 6 - 12 years of experience in Pega PRPC development
  • Mandatory: Strong handson experience with Pega Customer Service (Pega CS) framework
  • Solid expertise in:
  • Case Management
  • UI rules
  • Integrations and data pages
  • Decision rules and OOTB Pega CS components
  • Experience working with Pega 8.x / Pega Infinity
  • Handson experience in Agile / Scrum development environments

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)

  • Mandatory:
    • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA)
    • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • Preferred:
    • Pega Customer Service Specialist
    • Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) good to have

Preferred / GoodtoHave Skills

  • Experience with Digital Messaging, Chatbots, Voice AI, or NLPdriven customer service solutions
  • Exposure to CTI adapters, Pega Knowledge Management, or Customer Data Model (CDM)
  • Experience in highvolume customer service environments (BFSI, Insurance, Telecom, Utilities)
