Business Intelligence Engineer I, Amazon External Payments @ Amazon HR Muskan

AEP is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with excellent technical and analytical abilities. If you are a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for building scalable long-term solutions, then you are the right candidate for our team. In this role, the candidate would work closely with tech teams and product/program across US, EU and JP to build scalable solutions and drive WBRs for your domain. The position is based in Bangalore. We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. - Analyze and visualize data to generate insights for business and report with recommendation.
- Present recommendations to business leaders and drive decisions. Also manage implementation of those recommendations.
- Develop and recommend metrics that supports Business and Product growth.
- Drive WBRs for your domain. Serve as liaison between the Business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations - 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R) - Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
