Job Description

Role & responsibilities

chef specifically within a company similar establishmentsfocus on a mix of food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and staff supervision.

Assisting with food prep, specifically performing basic cooking on a fryer and grill.

Adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP) in all kitchen areas.
Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders with suppliers, and ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) to minimize waste.
Equipment Care: Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean, in good working condition, and reporting any faults.
Setting up the kitchen with necessary utensils and equipment, such as knives, pans, and scales.
Quality Control: Ensuring food is prepared according to recipes, maintaining standards for presentation, and monitoring food stock.
Monitoring stock levels, assisting with deliveries,
Team Collaboration: Working with a team, specifically under the direction of a Head Chef, and contributing to a positive, fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidate profile

HSC, Candidate should have good knowledge in all the cuisine.

Strong knife skills and experience with fast-food or similar high-volume, quick-service environments.
