Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a competent and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Welcomhotel Devee Grand Bay, Visakhapatnam. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction, renovation, and maintenance works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects. Experience in hotel or hospitality projects will be an added advantage
- Plan, supervise, and execute civil construction and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control
- Prepare project reports, estimates, and documentation
- Handle renovation and refurbishment works within the hotel premises
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in construction and civil works
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Experience in hotel or hospitality projects is a strong advantage
- Good project management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering tools
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
