Lead DevOps @ IndiaMART

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Implementing containerised workflows using technologies such as Docker and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes
• Analyze software continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery(CD) requirements in accordance with business needs.
• Conceptualize and perform software release management and build activities using GCP / AWS DevOps, GitLab and other supporting tools
• Handling multiple product installations, smooth deployments and its maintenance releases (service packs, hotfixes).
• Cloud Service/ Application monitoring, instrumentations, intelligence tools, and processes, using technologies like Grafana/ Prometheus/ Victoria Metrics etc.
• Managing high-scale application logs using technologies like EFK/ ECK etc.

Skills and Expertise:

• 5+ years experience in software configuration management and DevOps transitions
• Good knowledge in software configuration management & DevOps concepts
• Strong knowledge and experience in Git based DevOps tool chain including GCP/ AWS
• Strong Designing Skills for Application Deployments Using Kubernetes
• Experience in YML definitions and configuring static code analysis tools
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP) will have added weightage
• Proficient in any backend language - Go, Java etc will have added weightage.
• Experience in working with Lean/Agile software development projects.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Quick learner of new tools and technologies
  

Must Have Skills:

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• AWS/ GCP
  

Good to have:

• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL (Postgres, Oracle, Cassandra preferred)
• Knowledge to use NagiOS, Chef, Puppet, Teraform
• Knowledge of distributed system (Redis, RabbitMQ is preferred)
• CI/ CD
• EFK/ ELK
• Prometheus, Grafana, Victoria Metrics

Education: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT Preferred)
