Desktop Support Engineer 1 - Bangalore -3i Infotech (F2F Interview)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Mac)
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Install and configure applications and security updates
• Support email configuration (Outlook, Office 365)
• Handle LAN/WAN connectivity issues and basic network troubleshooting
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
• Ensure timely resolution of tickets as per SLA

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic networking concepts
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user management
• Knowledge of MS Office, Office 365, and remote support tools
• Basic understanding of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
