Job Description
Team: Urumi
Location:Kochi/Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (11.x) and PHP (8.2+)
Build responsive, modern frontends using Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API), Inertia.js, and Tailwind CSS
Architect modular, maintainable systems using Laravel Modules (nwidart)
Develop and optimise REST APIs,
database schema design, and MySQL (8.4) performance
Implement unit and integration testing using PHPUnit
Work within containerised environments (Docker / Laravel Sail) for consistent deplovments
Implement unit and integration testing.
Required Skills Backend Engineering
Strong experience in PHP (8.x) and
Laravel (latest versions preferred)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
Experience with API design, authentication, and security best practices
LFrontend Development
Hands-on experience with Vue.js (v3, Composition API)
Experience with Inertia.js for full-stack integration
Proficient in Tailwind CSS (3.x)
Database
Strong experience with MySQL (8.x)/ others
Knowledge of query optimisation and indexing
Environment DevOps
Experience with Docker (Laravel Sail preferred)
Strong proficiency in Git and Git-based workflows
Exposure to GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Architecture Quality
Experience with modular architectures (Laravel Modules / similar patterns)
Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit)
Understanding of code quality, scalability, and maintainability principles
Good to Have
Exposure to pharma / life sciences domain (commercial, CRM, data platforms)
Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Knowledge of microservices architecture or event-driven systems
