 Assistant Area Manager - Broking

Job Description


  • Implement strategies to develop the Broking channel and manage a pool of 8-10 branches of partners.

  • Identify potential leads and sources for prospective customers, connect with respective branches of these partners, and organize training for employees and channel partners.

  • Generate leads through joint calls along with partner employees/sub-partners and ensure quality business is sourced from the branches/sub-partners of the partner.

  • Develop understanding of products and coach staff on product USP's, ensuring product mix and controlling leakage and persistency.

  • Extend external networks with key insurance distributors across partner branches and increase MLI wallet share.

  • Proactively engage with decision-makers for running effective operations in business partnership.


Job Requirements



  • Graduate with 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or distributor management, with prior experience in insurance being essential.

  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills, along with exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in managing strategic initiatives, programs, and trainings, with coaching abilities for partner employees.

  • Full understanding and experience in handling partners, including stakeholder management and problem-solving.

  • Result-oriented with a customer-centric approach, possessing knowledge of products and technology.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and a drive to deliver new partnerships.
