Role Overview


AnnexMed is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth within the US hospital segment for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services.

This role is focused on building and converting a high-quality pipeline across mid-size hospitals, health systems, and institutional providers. You will work directly with finance and revenue cycle leaders, lead consultative sales discussions, and manage complex deals from first contact to closure.

The role requires a strong understanding of RCM operations and the ability to position outsourcing as a strategic lever for performance improvement, not just cost reduction.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Build and manage pipeline across bigger billing companies, physician practices, and mid-size hospitals
  • Lead discovery conversations, solution positioning, proposal discussions, and contract negotiations
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue acquisition targets
  • Identify and prioritize target hospitals aligned with AnnexMeds RCM service capabilities
  • Initiate outbound engagement through cold email, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and targeted calling
  • Generate discovery conversations with hospital finance and revenue cycle leadership teams
  • Maintain structured opportunity tracking within CRM
  • Understand revenue cycle challenges such as denials, AR performance, staffing gaps, and operational inefficiencies
  • Position AnnexMeds services as strategic outsourcing partnerships, not just transactional support
  • Drive opportunities across multi-stage, department-level decision-making processes
  • Coordinate internally with delivery, operations, and leadership teams to support proposal development

Requirements


Experience

  • 5+ years in enterprise B2B sales, preferably in healthcare or outsourcing
  • Proven track record of converting leads into definite appointments.
  • Prior experience in RCM services or healthcare outsourcing is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals

Skills & Capabilities

  • Ability to engage senior leadership (CFO, VP RCM, Directors)
  • Deep understanding of hospital revenue cycle workflows and challenges
  • Structured approach to pipeline building and deal progression
  • High ownership mindset with focus on closures
